Bless your heart!!! It will get better!

That race must have really taken advantage of some different muscles. Don't push too hard through this. Hopefully tomorrow will get better and you'll be on track by the weekend.

Woah, what happened on Wednesday? I usually find that a slow 5 or 6 miler cures most of the DOMS symptoms. You should be mostly fine the next day.

I'll be on the lookout for your missing mojo. Maybe it hightailed it for some cooler weather. hehe

Thanks everyone. I went to my orthopedic doctor this afternoon (a must for anyone over 50). It looks like I broke my right foot years ago (when I was young and stupid)and I've had a small bone chip floating around near proximal end of my 5th metatarsul (sp). Evidently, it lodged in the nearby tendon during my 16 mile Long Run a few weeks ago. I should be able to massage it out using heat treatment. Knowing that I'm not going to be forced to stop running lifted my spirits. With any luck, my mojo will head home in the morning (although I did promise Dawn she could use it this weekend) ... I can wait until Monday.
