Another Rest Day

Woke up this morning with a little tightness in my right hamstring, so I decide to hold off on my 10 Miler today and get back in the swing of things next week. I'm off to the Grand Canyon this afternoon for a hike on Friday (South Rim to North Rim). It should be nice and cold at the top (around 30F) and pleasent at the bottom. I'll be back late Saturday night and will catch up with your blogs on Sunday.

That sounds like a great hike!

Thanks for your comment -- it was sort of weird to hear the whole plane crashed into a building thing. I was putting together bookshelves and heard very sketchy news of it on a message board. I tried to turn on the TV and it wouldn't go on so I panicked. I then realized that the cable box was off and from there on out, it was all right.

Rest well!

Enjoy the Grand Canyon. I had to chuckle when you said you were skipping the 10 miler, but were going to do a rim to rim hike. I think I would have to tapper to do a rim to rim. Enjoy, Pat

Have a great day tomorrow Phil. I'm not sure if I can say this is a nice rest day. Don't push too hard and enjoy.

Hope you enjoy the hike. Don't even think about doing any running during your rim to rim. You know that you'll want to.

Pictures. Yes, we want pictures!!!
