Manhattan

No running yet, just lots of walking. On a soccer side note, our team finally won a game; finishing out the tournament with 0-2, 0-3, 0-4, 3-1. It's amazing what a couple of days to recovery from jet lag will do for the girls.

Have a great week.

Glad the team came back fighting! Hope you get that run in round Central Park. I always think of the place in black-and-white - too many Woody Allen films!

Glad the tourney ended on a good note. What, no runs in central park? A tip from someone who used to live there: If someone says "smoke, smoke, smoke, smoke..." as you're walking by, they're not warning you about a fire.

At least the team came away with a win. Getting over that flight and the jet lag must have taken a bit out of them though. Hope you got to run Central Park.

Congrats on the win! I love the photo -- hope you get a run in soon. You brought the heat with you, so you should enjoy it.
Thanks for your marathon help!

Lovely picture.
I loved how you "tried" to describe a dude at the track warming up faster than your repeats (I have lots of those too) - and good intervals!

Phil, It's the eve of the marathon and I just wanted to wish you a great race. Looks like the weather will be perfect if it's at all like today.

Holy mackerel! It's time to run that marathon! Enough of the sightseeing and get this show on the road. I'm looking forward to another good race from you. Say hello to Dawn if you see her.
