Nikeplus - Je suis accroc - Paris

This Nike commercial sounds so much better in French, but it's still a dumb Nike commercial. I sort of get lost in the dialogue after the set up that he's out for a 15km run, but it seems to follow the usual young-hip-macho story line.

What am I saying ... a 15km run through Paris sounds pretty nice, boy have I become rather jaded.

Have a great weekend.

I like how he ran backwards after seeing the girl stretching on the bridge, while his 'shadow' ran on.

I think I'd be using my dilly-dallying pace for a run through Paris. So much to look at!

Une publicité très agréable. Il a de la chance qu'il n'est pas tombé quand regarde la fille. Cela est exactement ce que m'arriverait!

Everything sounds better in French!! What I don't get is why did the girl have to be in it at all. Now that was dumb to me.

Anyone who runs from the Ile de la Cité, west, then back up to Montmartre is slightly crazy. And that was definitely filmed on a Sunday morning (only), or else a taxi would have flattened that guy and not looked back.

But Paris is wonderfully empty then, and any sort of run is highly recommended if you can make it there to faire le jogging. Just forget those steps, stick to the Seine!

when I use my nike + all I get is an overweight middleaged american running a lot slower and muttering in english. I guess I should upgrade my ipod.

To me it looked rather funny. The french language isn't hard enough. But the idea of the your own shadow chasing you is cool.
