Fresh Air

For the first time since this blistering summer started a zillion months ago, we opened the windows in our house. Of course, had to wait until the sun dropped and the temperature fell to 80F, but the windows are open and it actually feels cool. Autumn can’t be more than a month away.

On the running front, I hammered out 7 miles this morning. It wasn’t fast and it wasn’t pretty, but it was running.

Have a great week.

Still in the 80's? I should have moved to AZ. I never want summer to end. Glad to hear your shin is better:-)

Ahhhh, I am enjoying this cool weather! WOOHOO!

Great job on getting 7 miles done! Bet that felt great!

Our temps will cross over soon Phil. We're getting 20C days - perfect :)

Looks like the shin was no trouble in the 7 miler. Leave early for the 12 on the weekend and maybe you won't need lunch ;)

Look at the temp! 67* right now. Glad you're cooling off -- it should make the running a little easier.

7 miles! Very nice. Sounds like you are on the comeback to me.

This weekend was beautiful, especially once I got the hell out of Flagstaff on Saturday. The next 8 months are why we live in Phoenix for sure.

Oh - and that stadium was awesome...a swimming pool?!?! Very cool.

Way to hammer out 7, by the way.

Looks like all that heat headed east, we're supposed to get close to 90 today. But we'll take it, you certainly did your time with all that hot weather.

We had ours open but the heat returned and I had to close them and turn the A/C back on.

Good job on the 7.

That is funny. we hardly turn our air on and we always have the windows open.
Nice job on the run.

7 miles + no shin pain = bliss

80F = Autumn... Does not compute (for this North East boy)
