Georgia Update

Just checking in from Georgia with apologies to my blogging friends in central Georgia. I'm alive, but not running. I tried out the shin last Wednesday, but was forced to stop after 2 miles and walked back to my car. I'm going to give my right shin another week before I try again. Consequently, I cancelled my Grand Canyon trip. I'll post a link to my pictures from last year when I find a broadband connectio. Take care

Hope Georgia is treating you well, and I hope that shin's getting the rest it needs!! Shin splints HURT.

Enjoy GA. Try to ice your shin.

That must be disappointing Phil. I was looking forward to the Grand Canyon.

Take care.

Having to cancel the GC trip must really suck!

Sounds like "shin splints" to me. Along with rest do get in some strengthening exercises. Sometimes rest alone does not get rid of these pesky shin splints.

We will forgive you this time (and we forgave you the last time too...just in case you forgot), but eventually you are going to have to run with us!

Hope your dad had a fabulous 80th!!!!!

I leave you alone and then come back and see this shin injury. Man that sucks!! From the back and then to the shin. Come on Phil... you are our fearless leader. I finally make it to runing 50 miles and then some per week and you are not here with me!!
